Can you believe we are already in the month of May? We cannot complain; the weather continues to get better! While May is full of sunshine and warm weather, it is also much more than just that to us bloggers. May is an awesome month for new blogging topics and creative posts.
As always, here are 10 topics to tackle this month:
#1: Clean Air Month. A blog post about this event can be related to anything from home insurance to health insurance. Give tips on how to keep the air fresh in your home!
#2: Protect your summer toys. Boats, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, four wheelers… you name it, there is a policy for it!
#3: Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month. Now is a great time to remind everyone about sunscreen and skin safety! The summer sun is nice, but damaging if people are not careful.
#4: Summer weddings. There are a lot of big days in the summer! Wedding insurance anyone? You can even add some wedding planning tips to make it more interesting.
#5: Cinco de Mayo safety. This holiday may bring parties, cook outs and drinking, especially among college students. This would make a great safety blog!
#6: Prom season. Now is a good time to blog about driving safety tips, especially if your teen will be driving to the prom this year!
#7: National BBQ Month. Cookout and grilling safety posts are a must!
#8: Mother’s Day! May 13th is right around the corner. What are you buying your mother this year?
#9: Emergency Medical Services week. May 20-26 is EMS week! This is a good time to discuss safety at home and possibly flood and earthquake insurance policies.
#10: World Red Cross Day. On May 8th, celebrate all of the hard work that Red Cross workers dedicate themselves to! This is a great way to tie in natural disaster policies and even health insurance.
Here’s an idea: Make it a personal goal to write two posts a week using these topics. This is a great insurance marketing strategy and can help boost your page rank on Google. It may seem like a chore to blog, but we know that with these fun topics, you will not mind sitting down to write. You can even blog outdoors for a change of scenery!
