1. The first Sunday of May is World Laughter Day! Post a funny joke, picture or video.
2. Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month is a great topic for health insurance or even life insurance posts. This is a great opportunity to give tips, advice and fast facts!
3. May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month for all those health fanatics. Tweet a few exercise routines and health tips!
4. Teen CEO month is here… find a cool article on a young CEO and post it.
5. For all the Star Wars fans; May 4^th is Star Wars Day! Tweet or post your favorite quote or ask followers which movie is their favorite. MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU!
6. Cinco de Mayo is a good time to remind your younger fans about drinking and driving and party safety.
7. Call to action: What are you getting your Mom for Mother’s Day?
8. Also, some followers may need a reminder that Mother’s Day is on May 13^th!
9. Ask a question: Anyone graduating from college this month? Congratulate them!
10. The weather continues to warm up; why not ask your fans which drink they prefer to cool down with on a hot day: iced coffee, iced tea or lemonade?
11. This month is Celiac Awareness Month; post a few recipes for all your gluten-free followers!
12. Yes, it is NATIONAL SMILE MONTH! Post a funny quote or joke that is sure to bring a smile to your followers’ faces.
13. May 20-26^th is National Dog Bite Prevention Week. This is a good time to remind your followers that they MAY need to add animal liability to their home insurance policy.
14. Clean Air Month; great for home insurance keywords!
15. May is Motorcycle Safety month. Great time for tips, scenic routes and a reminder to purchase motorcycle insurance!
