1. Spring cleaning and warmer weather means yard sales! Tips on how to run a successful yard sale are great for home insurance posts.
2. Home maintenance tips are great around this time of year, whether tips on how to rejuvenate your garden for the season or how to fix a leaky roof for those rainy days ahead. They do not say “April Showers” for nothing!
3. April is Alcohol Awareness Month. Health or auto insurance can both be linked to this.
4. April is also National Garden Month; great for all those home insurance posts!
5. April 4^th has been dubbed Vitamin C Day! The benefits of Vitamin C would make for an interesting health insurance blog.
6. With Easter and Passover around the corner, bloggers have a variety of directions to go into; from holiday traditions to home preparations. Cooking tips and safety are popular for home insurance posts. You can even throw in a post with your favorite recipe!
7.  April 7^th is World Health Day! I think you know where this is going…
8. Are you ready for Earth Day? April 22^nd is the day to blog about going green and ways to save the environment!
9. Consumer Awareness Week is around the corner. If you are stumped on a blog post for business insurance, I am sure you can find a way to tie this week in!
10. Time to break out those warm weather toys! Motorcycle, RV and even watercraft insurance should be the highlight around this time of year!

So what are you waiting for? Open up a Word document and get to blogging! Your insurance marketing strategy is not going to get you very far if you avoid blogging like the plague. Coming up with an interesting subject is half of the battle; so take these topics and run with it!
