be your own fan

One of my favorite quotes in the world is from Henry Ford. He said: “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re RIGHT!”

In order to be your own fan, you must have belief and self-confidence. Every job has its share of challenges, but most challenges can be overcome with the right attitude and the right approach.

We often talk about the importance of shifting from a service-centric culture to a sales-driven culture. So many agents view this as an insurmountable task. But the reality is, it’s totally achievable. It’s a checkup from the neck up. Many choices in life are made simply by committing to a decision. Look at dieting, exercising, or learning to play an instrument.

All of these examples are not unachievable. They all take focus, time and commitment, but they yield results.

In order to be your own fan, you must make a conscious decision to talk the talk and walk the walk. If you truly believe there is nothing more you could possibly do to offer better service or excel at sales, then you have stopped being teachable and made a decision to stop growing. Don’t stop growing. Be an advocate for yourself and others around you!

10 Ways to Become your Own Fan:

-Be Teachable

-Have a Positive attitude

-Dress for Success

-Develop Self-Confidence

-Take Pride in your Work

-Put the Customer First

-Visualize your Success

-Positive Self-Talk

-Respect Yourself

-Give 100% to Everything

It’s a simple list but surprisingly impossible to implement without a change in attitude. To truly change your attitude, you need to believe in change as a possibility. Don’t shy away from it as so many others do. Embrace change. Embrace positivity. And you’re on your way to becoming your own greatest fan. And guess what? That will make others a fan of yours as well.
