Happy first day of March! Before you know it, Spring will be here… something that we can all look forward to! As always, I am here to discuss great blogging topics for this month. Many people may think March is a low key month, but not when it comes to blogging efforts and ideas.

Here are 10 topics to cover throughout the month. Make it a point to hit each one- two posts a week!

#1: Spring is on the way! Gardening /yard care tips and spring cleaning are huge around this time of year.

#2: March is the month of Spring Break- travelers insurance anyone?

#3: Tips for packing light and making the most of your travels.

#4: St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner- tips, stories, history and safety should be blogged about!

#5: Drinking and driving may be an issue during this weekend. You can blog about the importance of auto insurance and the consequences of your actions.

#6: National Caffeine Awareness Month! Blog about the benefits of coffee and caffeine.

#7: March is a green month, between spring on the way and St. Patty’s day. Why not blog about the importance of GOING GREEN this month at home or in the office?

#8: March is American Red Cross Month- disaster, earthquake and flood insurance posts!

#9: Many high school student’s are making decisions for college! This is a great time to blog about student coverage when it comes to auto and housing.

#10: Blog for the end of the month: Are you ready for April Fool’s Day? Share your best joke ideas with your readers before the first of April!

As you can see, March is much more exciting than you may have thought! I know I continue to say this each week, but blogging should always be a large part of your insurance marketing strategy. If you can blog twice or even three times a week, you can count on your site relevance and ranking to climb up the search engine and anticipate new leads for the year. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to go write a blog post!
