Are you taking advantage of the summer months? Your clients certainly are, but they are still taking the time to pop on the Internet during their time off. Keep up with your blogging with these August blog topics:

  1. What do employers do when people are using their vacation days? Provide tips for employers who need to keep the work going during the paid time off of others, and guide them to the best way to accept/reject employee vacation requests.
  2. Is your part audience going back and forth between their primary home and their vacation home? If they are, they should know how to lock up their homes when they are not in them. Give them tips to secure their home while on vacation or away.
  3. The opportunities for vacations are fluttering away, and people will start planning one last road trip before they have to get back into the work grind. Driving long distances can be hard, so encourage your audience against drowsy driving, and provide traffic safety tips as part of National Traffic Awareness Month.
  4. School many not be in session yet, but preseason for sports is kicking into full gear. Help your audience and their kids prepare for their fall sports seasons, and remind them of safety tips when it comes to exhaustion and hydration.
  5. Speaking of school, your readers should start thinking about getting their kids back to the books as they prepare for another school year. Provide tips to help your audience get their children through their reading lists as part of Child Vision and Learning Month.
  6. Speaking of children, did you know that it is Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month? Convey to your readers the importance of having their children’s eyes checked, as well as diets and other practices that promote eye health.
  7. The heat in August is just as relentless as it is in July, which means pool season is in full force. Remind them of common maintenance and safety tips that come with owning a pool, as well as the insurance they need to cover it.
  8. Does your audience know of the  they need to have? As part of National Immunization Awareness Month, educate your audience on the vaccines and immunizations they need to receive throughout their life.

  10. Did you know the first week in August is National Farmers Market Week? Educate your audience on how buying locally grown food can benefit them as well.
