Milwaukee, WI – Oct. 28, 2014
In a continued effort to improve services to the insurance broker market, Zywave is conducting an Innovation Competition amongst its employees. The competition encouraged employees to team up and brainstorm problems and solutions that either employees or Zywave customers faced on a daily basis in this persistent effort to improve customer service. The competition is set to conclude at the end of this month, with the unveiling of projects continuing through the week.
Competition Details
Zywave employees were tasked to form teams and come up with inventive ideas on new product prototypes or make enhancements to current products all in an effort to improve customer and employee satisfaction. As part of their requirements, employees were asked to think outside the box and come up with new, innovative ideas for the ‘next big thing’ that will help propel Zywave in the near future.
Zywave employees have been working feverishly since June to put their creative ideas into working prototypes in time for the October unveiling. Spanning nearly every department in the company, 10 teams have been entered into the competition and are vying for the top 3 spots that receive awards, and the contest winner having their idea put into action.
The projects will be on display at the Crowne Plaza in Wauwatosa on the 31st for all Zywave employees to see and vote upon, the winner of which being crowned the People’s Choice. Innovation contest winners and awards will be announced at 2:00 P.M.
Focus on Customer Feedback
One of Zywave’s goals this year has been increased feedback from their customers. “We are very broker-focused and are always listening to our Zywave users, but now we’re putting some formal initiatives in place,” said O’Brien. This competition is just one of the ways Zywave is trying to increase their customer satisfaction. Zywave employees are in constant contact with customers about their experience with the products, and are those best suited to provide potential solutions to these problems given this daily interaction with customers. The competition provides an opportunity to fulfill this promise to improve customer satisfaction as well as provide an avenue for employees to improve their day-to-day operation and better serve their customers’ needs.
