Milwaukee, WI – Nov. 12, 2014

Throughout the previous two months, Zywave employees have been hard at work coming up with innovative solutions to problems that brokers face on a recurring basis. Many innovative and potentially groundbreaking ideas were shared among Innovation Competition contestants. On October 31st, the contest came to a conclusion, with one winner standing above the rest as the next big Zywave idea.

Competition Winner Details

Zywave’s Employee Innovation Competition winners developed applications for Zywave’s Mywave Connect® product that will certainly propel the company in the near future, and better serve our clients. Each app serves as a virtual consultant, marrying Zywave’s cutting-edge functionality with precise, well-written content to guide the user through a complicated business function quickly. The apps will help Zywave brokers serve as advisors to their clients without having to become experts on the app topic themselves. Along with their prize for coming in first place comes a cash prize as well as their idea being put into action. The team, led by Zywave Lead International Marketing Analyst Nicole Bulanda, consisted of software developers Paul Bemis, Kalvin Krueger, and Jonathan Metzler, Product Manager Brittany Zubarik, web designer Daniel Reid, content writer Andy Hartman, and quality assurance analyst Adam Wiebe.

Focus on Customer Feedback

One of Zywave’s goals this year has been increased feedback from their customers. “We are very broker-focused and are always listening to our Zywave users, but now we’re putting some formal initiatives in place,” said Dave O’Brien, CEO.

This competition is just one of the ways Zywave is trying to increase their customer satisfaction. Zywave employees are in constant contact with customers about their experience with the products, and, as such, are those best suited to provide potential solutions to these problems given this daily interaction with customers. The competition provides an opportunity to fulfill this promise to improve customer satisfaction as well as provide an avenue for employees to improve their day-to-day operation and better serve customers’ needs.
